Kris

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kris graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1983. Although she has worked in different dental offices throughout her career, Henagan Team Dentistry has been the workplace she calls home for nearly 30 years. Her duties at the office include taking X-rays, administering N2O when necessary, educating patients on proper dental hygiene, prevention, and treatment of dental disease. She admits that her favorite part of her job is listening to and getting to know her patients. She works with them to overcome dental fears and phobias so that future visits can become more of a pleasant experience. Building relationships and being in touch with their dental likes and dislikes is very important to Kris. She strives to have them leave the office feeling as though their visit was pleasant and comfortable.

Kris is married to Sammy and they have three daughters, Ashley, Tori and Danielle. In Kris’s spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, volunteering at her daughters’ school, and performing dental screening exams on special needs people where Special Olympics programs are held. She loves to travel and go out to dinner where she can relax and enjoy a nice conversation over a glass of wine. 

Beth

Registered Dental Hygienist

Beth graduated from Northeast Louisiana University, now known as University of Louisiana at Monroe, in 1994, where she attained her Bachelor of Science degree. She began her dental career at the age of 19 as a dental assistant. It was then that she discovered her passion for dentistry and helping people. In 1996, Beth joined Henagan Team Dentistry. She loves making a difference in her patients' healthcare and considers each and every one of them extended family members.

When not at work, Beth is busy being a mom, wife, and community volunteer. The loves of her life are her three beautiful children, Payton, Isabelle, and Johnathan, and her husband, Jay. She is an active volunteer at her children’s school, having served as Parent Club President and Board of Trustee member. She is also involved with the Louisiana Arthritis Foundation and the Downtown Art Walk.

Ken

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ken graduated from Tyler Junior College with honors. He has over 37 years in the dental hygiene field, including work in periodontics. He has been with Henagan Team Dentistry since 1999. His duties at the office include taking X-rays, administering anesthetic, and patient education. He works with each patient to achieve and maintain their goal for optimal oral health and finds it very rewarding to make a visual change for a patient in less than one hour. In addition to being a dental hygienist, Ken is a CPR instructor and has served on the on the State Board of Dentistry as a member and adviser for over 25 years. He truly enjoys helping patients with their dental hygiene needs.

Ken and his wife, Bo, have been married for over 42 years. They have two daughters, Gabrielle and Bernadette, and two grandchildren, Amelie and Beau. Ken is an avid outdoorsman. He loves hunting, fishing, and being the handyman around his house.  

Jenni

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jenni graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in 2004 where she attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Following graduation, Jenni completed her internship with Henagan Team Dentistry and joined the team shortly thereafter. She has been an active member in ADHA since graduation and also serves on the LDHA board as delegate which allows her to represent her profession for the State of Louisiana. Her goal is to be a coworker with her patients, helping them achieve optimal oral health which is so important to their overall health. She enjoys the interaction with her patients on a professional level while considering their personal needs. What she enjoys the most is making a positive impact in her patients’ lives.

Jenni loves spending time with her husband, Broc, and their daughters, Ava Grace and Londyn. In addition to her family, she also enjoys reading and helping others who have no one to turn to.

Christie

Appointment Coordinator

Christie brings her knowledge of dentistry to the front office as our appointment coordinator. She has been assisting Dr. Henagan as an expanded duty dental assistant since 1999 and feels her experience will aid her in taking care of our patients’ needs. Her responsibilities as appointment coordinator include patient scheduling, patient management, and helping to maintain order of the office.  She always has a smile on her face and hopes to pass it on by making each patient feel comfortable with dentistry. Christie admits that one of the reasons she enjoys working for Henagan Team Dentistry is because she feels like it’s one big family. She appreciates the opportunities that she has been given over the years to travel to many places for continuing education courses. 

Christie enjoys spending time with her husband, Beau, and their children, Josh and Collin. She loves being outdoors, boating, shopping, and family get-togethers. 

Julie

Administrative Coordinator/Marketing

Julie initially joined Henagan Team Dentistry in October 2007 as the appointment coordinator after a long relationship as a patient of the practice. Having had the opportunity to experience both sides of the practice, she feels very fortunate to be part of a team where patient care is a priority. She currently uses her organizational skills and passion for the practice to manage the behind the scenes workings of the office. Julie assists Dr. Henagan as his administrative assistant and handles internal customer relations as well as marketing for the practice. New patients meet her in their initial visit to the office to acquaint them with all the services provided by the practice. She feels that it’s important to treat each patient individually, doing whatever possible to accommodate their needs.  

When Julie isn’t working, she enjoys gardening, shopping, being involved with community events, and spending time with family and friends. She has two daughters, Brittani and Lexi.

Annette

Financial Coordinator

Annette has been with Henagan Team Dentistry since September 1991. She started out assisting Dr. Henagan and transitioned into being our financial coordinator. She believes that her assisting experience has equipped her to help patients with their dental as well as financial concerns. It means a great deal for her to be able to help patients achieve their dental needs and goals. Annette also believes that listening to a patient is the single most important part of her job and that the compassion you express towards someone’s needs is an important factor in helping them achieve dental health and happiness. Because of this, our patients feel as if Henagan Team Dentistry is family and not just a dentist office.

When Annette is not at work, she enjoys taking care of her family, reading, gardening, celebrating Mardi Gras, and spending time with family and friends. She is married to Charlie and has two children, Kyle and Katie.

Stacie

Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Stacie received her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification in 1994. She previously worked for Dr. Henagan, leaving to start her family and rejoining the team in March 2008. Stacie has over 30 years of dental experience, including work in orthodontics. Stacie’s main goal is to treat her patients like friends and family. Joking around and making others smile and laugh is important to her while working to create beautiful smiles. She believes that great smiles enhance self-confidence. She enjoys working for Dr. Henagan because she feels like it is one big family where everyone supports one another in the office as well as in their personal lives.

Stacie enjoys spending time with her husband, Kenny, and their children, Blake and Brooke. She also likes exercising, fishing, reading, cooking, and helping those in need. 

Holly

Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Holly joined the Henagan Team in September 2010 with 12 years of dental assistant experience. She is very hands-on with patient care and loves meeting new challenges. She strives to build relationships of trust, wanting each patient to feel comfortable during every visit. Her bubbly personality makes it very easy for her to quickly get to know all our new patients. Holly enjoys being a member of the Henagan team because everyone pulls together to provide the best for our patients, and Dr. Henagan does a great job at making everyone feel appreciated.  Her goal is to make all of her patients feel like they are a part of our team. 

When Holly isn’t working, she enjoys camping with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Kobie and Laila.  She also loves being involved with her daughters’ school activities as well as helping her husband with the Bouchirie in their hometown of St. Martinville.   

Kelly

Administrative Support

Kelly graduated from LSU school of Physical Therapy in 1979 and has spent many years helping handicapped children. Although she has always been affiliated with the practice, recently she has shifted her focus completely to the practice. She is proud to call herself one of the team even though she might be best labeled as behind-the-scene gopher.

During her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Henagan, and their children, Logan and Abigail, as well as taking part in exercise therapy, Pilates, and being a team mom.
